Jessica Lehman has spent 10 years as in-house counsel for small and large government contractors providing essential services to federal, state and local agencies. She is a trusted business partner and provides legal counsel to key stakeholders in providing legally compliant solutions to government customers. Her areas of specialization include bid and proposal efforts, public procurement matters, contract performance compliance requirements, and public sector sourcing and supply chain issues. 

 

Jessica holds a BA from Tulane University and a JD from Louisiana State University. She is also a mom to 3 young children and lives in Northern Virginia.

Shema Mbyirukira is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Verizon Global Services where he leads the legal teams supporting the information technology and artificial intelligence organizations.  Shema previously served as a Managing Associate General Counsel advising Verizon's Data & Analytics and Public Sector organizations.  Prior to joining Verizon, Shema held various positions in Deloitte’s Federal Cybersecurity and Practice and Ernst & Young’s Technology Risk Services Group.  Shema also practiced as a corporate attorney, specializing in insurance litigation and international trade compliance.
